7-day merzouga desert trip from Ouarzazate
The trip 7 days to the desert of Merzouga from Ouarzazate visiting the most interesting of the South East of Morocco visiting the route of the thousand kasbahs, Kasbah Taourirt and Ksar Ait Ben Haddou in Ouarzazate, spend a night in the desert, route of the nomads visiting several Berber villages, see some oasis in the desert, excursion with the dromedaries in the dunes of Merzouga.
Day 01. Ouarzazate.
Pick up at the airport and transfer to the hotel. Depending on the time of arrival possibility to make a first contact visiting the kasbah Taourirte. Dinner and overnight in hotel.
Day 02. Ouarzazate – Valle Draa – Ouzina Desert.
After breakfast, we leave towards the palm grove of the Draa with its Kasbahs, we will travel through the mountains of Ante Atlas, we hunt Jbel the KISSAN, after the tour through it we will cross the black desert and we will arrive at the foot of the beautiful dunes of Erg Ouzina.
Dinner and overnight in a hotel in the middle of the desert.
Day 03. – Ouzina – Pueblos Bereberes – Erg Chebbi Dunes.
After breakfast we leave visiting Berber villages, association of the Jdaid people visiting Berber families (if they want to give things for children), we will visit several villages by tracks of rallé Paris-Dakar, possibility of having a picnic in the middle of the desert, in the afternoon arrival at the impressive dunes of Erg Chebbi (the highest in all of Morocco). Excursion in dromedary to sleep in camp middle of the dunes. Dinner and overnight Haima.
Day 04. Erg Chebbi – Rissani – Gargantas Todra – Dades.
In the morning see the spectacle sunrise in the dunes, and return with the dromedaries, we left for Rissani, the first imperial city of Morocco, then we passed through Erfoud where the fossils are located, we contained visiting the gorges of Todra then we left for Dades gorges.
Dinner and overnight in kasbah.
Day 05. Dades – Ruta Kasbahs – Ouarzazate – Marrakech.
We leave through the valley of a thousand kasbahs and valley of the roses then through the palm grove of Sakoura with its kasbahs, arriving in Ouarzazate. Then we cross the atlas again through a port of 2260 M altitude, arrival in Marrakech, transfer to your hotel. Accommodation in riad or hotel.
Day 06. Marrakech.
In the morning guided tour of the Medina in Marrakech and historical monuments, such as the mosque of Koutoubia or Kutubía of the twelfth century that has a height of 69 meters, minaret is a symbol of Marrakech, the Bahia Palace, Saadies Tombs, jamae el Fena square, the souks. Day 07. Marrakech.
