Nomad Route 8 days from Ouarzazate through the kasbahs and desert
Nomad route 8 days from Ouarzazate to the desert visiting the famous kasbahs such as Kasbah Taourirte and Ksar Ait Ben Haddou and Berber villages, we will spend a night in a haima in the desert with an excursion on camels to reach the middle camp of the desert dunes,
Day 1. Ouarzazate.
Reception at the airport and transfer to the hotel, possibility to visit the city of Ouarzazate according to the time of arrival. Dinner and overnight at the hotel.
Day 2. Ouarzazate – Skoura – Boutagrar – Dades.
We will start with the visit of the Taourirt kasbah, then we will go to the palm grove of SKOURA. We will pass through the valley of roses, by road, about 12 klm we leave by track passing through Berber villages in the middle Atlas, we will see the nomads who live in the caves, then towards the mountains of Amgoun and we will be able to appreciate the beauty of the landscape. Dinner and overnight at Kasbah hotel.
Day 3. Dades – Gadgantas del Todra – Merzouga.
We will follow the road of the thousands Kasbahs and we will be able to see Kasbahs. We will visit the Dades gorges, possibility to do 2 hours of hiking or trekking in the Amgoun mountains to discover the landscape, then to the Todra valley to visit the Todra gorge, then we leave for the desert where we will arrive at the foot of the beautiful dunes of Erg Chebbi the highest in all of Morocco. Dinner and overnight in a hotel at the foot of the dunes.
Day 4. Merzouga – Erg Chebbi Desert.
In the morning departure we will go around all the dunes of Erg Chebbi we pass through oasis sacks then through the small village of Khamlia with inhabitants originally from Mali (Berber population of black ethnicity from Mali). We will rest to get to know their culture through their Gnaua music and dances. Then we will pass through the Paris-Dakar track, in the afternoon a tour of an hour and a half with the camels to sleep in the middle of the dunes. Dinner and overnight in Haima nomad tents.
Day 5: Merzouga – Ouzina – Ramlia – M'harech Oasis.
In the morning we go out on Paris-Dakar Rally tracks passing through Berber villages lost in the middle of the desert, dry Ouedes, we will visit associations of the villages where Berber families live. In the afternoon arrive at the Mharch Oasis in the middle of the desert. Dinner and overnight at Kasbah/hotel.
Day 6. Oasis M’harech – Desierto – Zagora.
In the morning we will continue along the Paris-Dakar tracks crossing the dry ouedes, sacred oases,....., we will pass through the Tizi-N-Tfelalt pass to reach Zagora; call “puerta del desierto” then we follow the road to the south, 18 kilometers away we will find Tamgrout, a small town famous for its pottery. Protected by a great wall, it was once an important religious and educational center. Proof of this is its magnificent library. We return to Zagora. Dinner and overnight in the middle of the palm grove.
Day 7. Zagora – Valle Draa – Ait Ben Haddou – Ouarzazate.
We will follow the road of the thousands of Kasbahs and we will be able to see the Kasbahs, the valley and the palm grove of Draa and Tamnougalt kasbah, which will surprise us with the ornamental profusion of its rooms. Arrival in Ouarzazate we will go to visit the fortified village of Ait Ben Haddou declared a World Heritage Site by Unesco. We will return to Ouarzazate. Dinner and overnight in Riad/hotel.
Day 8: Ouarzazate.
Free time. At the agreed time transfer to the airport and end of the trip and our nomadic desert route 8 days from Ouarzazate through the kasbahs and desert.
