03 Days Merzouga Desert Tour from Marrakech
DAY 01. – MARRAKECH – AIT BEN HADDOU – OUARZAZATE – DADES.
Departure in the morning towards Ouarzazate, crossing the high atlas through the port “TIZI-N-TICHA” with a height of 2260 meters, along which we will find Berber villages with their typical houses built in stone and adobe. We will visit the famous kasbah of AIT BEN HADDOU, a World Heritage Site. Then we contained towards the valley of Dades passing through the palm grove of Skoura and the valley of the Roses, In the afternoon we will arrive at the hotel in Dades. Dinner and overnight in Riyadh.
DAY 02.- DADES VALLEY – TODRA – ERFOUD – MERZOUGA – ERG CHEBBI.
After breakfast, we will go through the valley of a thousand kasbahs to visit the gorges of Todra, after the tour of it we will cross the palm grove of Tafilalet and we will arrive at the foot of the beautiful dunes of Erg Chebbi (the highest in all of Morocco). In the afternoon a tour of an hour and a half with the camels to sleep in the middle of the dunes.
Dinner and overnight in Haimas, nomadic tents.
DAY 03. ERG CHEBBI – RISSANI – VALLE DRAA – OUARZAZATE – MARRAKECH.
This day we will have to get up early to enjoy a sunrise half of the dunes, and have breakfast, we take the 4×4 (9-hour trip), leaving for Rissani first imperial city of Morocco, then we will pass through the desert to reach the palm grove and the largest Draa valley in all of Morocco, we cross the mountains of the Ante Atlas, to reach Ouarzazate the capital of cinema, then we will cross again the high Atlas mountains to reach Marrakech. Transfer to your hotel and end of the trip and our services.
