TRAVEL 08 DAYS 07 NIGHTS FROM AGADIR TO THE DESERT
The 8 days trip from Agadir to the desert dunes of Erg Chegaga visiting the kasbahs in Ouarzazate, ksar ait ben Haddou, visit Agadir Imchguiguiln the Berber granary, and kasbah Tizourgane in the valley of Ait Baha in the gorges of Ait Mansour.
Day 01.- Agadir. Pick up from the airport and transfer to the hotel.
Depending on the time of arrival, it is possible to make a first contact with the city along the promenade of Agadir. Dinner on your own and overnight in hotel/riad with breakfast.
Day 02. Agadir – Ait Baha – Tizourgane – Tafraout.
In the morning we make a panoramic visit of the city Agadir, then departure to Tafraout passing through the valley and the palm grove of Ait Baha with panoramic stops then visit the Berber village Agadir Imchguiguilne in the community Ait Mzal, The collective granary is located on a hill that dominates the village and its surroundings, thus having greater protection was built in the seventeenth century, in dry stone. Then we continue crossing the Anti Atlas Mountains visiting the ancient village or the kasbah Tizourgane an authentic stone village in the mountain tail with spectacular views, in the afternoon we will arrive in Tafraoute. Dinner and overnight at the hotel.
Day 03: Tafraoute – Ait Mansour – Tata – Tissint.
In the morning visit the souks of Tafraout and the famous painted rocks, we take a leisurely walk, then we leave towards Ait Mansour through different Berber villages and spectacular panoramic visits with colors of rocks visiting the gorges of Ait Mansour, then we continue crossing the mountains to reach the village of Tata, where we will eat at noon, then we will go to Tissint, small village in the middle of the desert where we stay in an Oasis of camp next to of the Tissint River. Dinner and overnight in Berber camp.
Day 04.- Tissint – Foum Zguide – Chegaga Dunes.
In the morning, after breakfast, we drive through the desert towards Foum Zguide, the last village on the road, to take the Dakar tracks through the dune desert, Lake Iriki to reach the dunes of Erg Chegaga where we take a camel excursion to watch the sunset in the dunes and spend the night in haimas. Dinner and overnight in haima.
Day 05.- Dunes Chegaga – Mhamid – Zagora – Ouarzazate.
Early in the morning we will see the sunrise in the dunes and have breakfast and continue along the Dakar tracks to reach Mhamid where we will take the road again to Zagora the capital of the Touareg in Morocco, we will visit the famous village of green pottery Tamgroute and its oldest Koranic school in Morocco. Then through the palm grove of Traa visit the kasbah Tamnougalte in the middle of the palm grove, then with panoramic stops we cross the anti-atlas to reach Ouarzazate. Dinner and overnight at the hotel.
Day 06.- Ouarzazate – Ait Ben Haddou – Taroudante.
After breakfast visit the kasbah Taourirt possibility to see the Hollywood film studios of Morocco. Then we will go to visit the Berber village and the kasbah ait ben Haddou, a world heritage site from the 11th century. Then departure to Taroudante where arrival in the afternoon transfer to the hotel.
Day 07.- Taroudante – Agadir.
After breakfast visit the city of Taroudante, its medina and the ancient walls, we stroll through its souks, called little city Marrakech because it is the same style, then we will go to Agadir where we enjoy the rest of our time. Bed and breakfast at the hotel.
Day 08.- Agadir.
Possibility to make an excursion to the surroundings of Agadir or to be enjoying the beach and at the indicated time and departure of the flight, transfer to the airport and end of the trip and our services.
